Learn how to share your internet connection over Ethernet using LAN cable without using router.
STEPS

1) Click Network icon
2) Click Edit Connections
3) Click add
4) Select Ethernet and click create
5) Enter a connection name
6) Click on IPv4 Settings
7) For method select "Share to other computers"
8) Click save.
9) Connect both the computers using LAN cable.
You can start using the internet as soon as the 2nd computer connects to the network.
