Jensen's Inequality
We prove the Jensen Inequality. For a convex function defined on an open interval the function maps a line segment to a curve bounded by the line segment of the function values. We show that this generalizes to a finite convex combination of values. We also prove that the inequality extends to integrals over unit intervals.
