The Flash NFT collection sounds like a cash grab for the Special Features on a DVD
Besides being one of the biggest movie flops of the year, The Flash continues its spiral downwards by releasing an NFT collection.
Claiming to be the first movie to hit the blockchain, they are releasing a Web3 experience for fans to access digital locations & behind-the-scenes footage. Naturally, critics HATE it.
While turning NFTs into movies is seen as empowerment to creators, turning movies into NFTs is a sign that your movie had pretty bad reviews.
The Flash NFTs look like a movie metaverse experience, but sounds essentially like a cash grab for the Special Features section of a DVD.
Is this something people need from a forgettable superhero movie? Probably not.
