The abundance of illicit activities on the blockchain has finally spawned its own dark knight.
Arkham Intelligence, the new blockchain bounty hunter, launched Intel Exchange, a snitch-to-earn marketplace which rewards users with thousands of dollars if they can identify high-profile wallets on the blockchain such as Elon Musk, SBF or Do Kwon.
The marketplace's current highest bounty is at $65K for those who can identify wallets related to the FTX hack.
However, the project has faced significant backlash due to the risks it poses to user privacy.
Having the right intentions to uncover fraud now offer users the ability to reveal private information for their own personal interest.
Will this push for transparency lead to a broader shift in the space or will the resistance reaffirm the blockchain's privacy principles?
