Advanced Policy Surveillance Training Webinar, Part 4 Coding the Law
This is the fourth webinar in a series of five that describe the policy surveillance process in detail. After researchers have gathered all the laws relevant to the project, the next step in the policy surveillance process is to code those laws. Coding the law is the point in the policy surveillance process where question development and collecting the law come together. Using the collected law for each jurisdiction, researchers must-read, observe and record the law’s characteristics. This webinar, recorded on October 29, 2019, was hosted by expert training staff from the Policy Surveillance Program at Temple University’s Center for Public Health Law Research.
