This is the second in a series of five webinars describing the policy surveillance process in detail. The next step in the policy surveillance process is question development. Question writing is at the root of the legal mapping process because policy surveillance relies on a question and answer format to observe the characteristics of the law. Policy surveillance supports the observation of the law rather than interpretation, and the question development process is integral to creating non-biased legal data. This webinar, recorded on September 22, 2019, was hosted by expert training staff from the Policy Surveillance Program at Temple University’s Center for Public Health Law Research.
