Recreate this fun activity at home! All you need is a cup, balloon, and marble! Stretch your balloon over the top of the cup nice and tight so it creates tension. Drop your marble on the balloon and watch it bounce!
How does this work? 🤔 The kinetic energy from the marble transfers to the balloon when you drop it causing the balloon to push back which transfers the energy back to the marble! The tension you create by stretching the balloon over the cup makes a springy surface that allows the marble to bounce!
