Here's a demonstration on using soft pastels and sanded paper to create a loose/painterly styled painting of daisies! I use an acrylic ink underpainting and various brands of soft pastels to create this artwork.
Supplies used:
*Liquitex acrylic inks
*UArt 400 grit sanded paper
*Various soft pastels - Unison, Richeson Hand-Rolled, Terry Ludwig, are some of my favorite brands, but you can use whatever you have! A mix of medium (i.e. Rembrandt) and softer (Unison, Ludwig) are usually good to work with
*Prismacolor NuPastels
*Synthetic paint brush
This original art is available for purchase.
