【Victor/Victoria】Le Jazz Hot【Cover】
For how much I love Julie Andrews and worship the ground she walks on, Victor/Victoria was only recent discovery for me. I remembered Ivy Winters on Drag Race season 5 did a recreation of the look associated with this song, so I looked it up and was blown away. What's especially poignant about the film (and especially its stage version) is that this was Julie Andrews' final project before her ill-fated vocal surgery. I obviously wish we could've had more of her singing, but what gives me comfort is that she has fought to continue on afterward, even if she rarely ever sings anymore. Enjoy!
