【A Star is Born 1976】Evergreen【Cover】
I've always wanted to cover a Barbra Streisand hit, but I've never been sure which one should be my first. I initially wanted to try something from Funny Girl, but that felt predictable (I do have I'm the Greatest Star, People, Don't Rain on My Parade, and My Man planned for the future). Something from Yentl was also under consideration, but I don't think now's the right time for that. Of what I had left, Evergreen was the clearest choice. It wasn't actually my favorite Barbra song at first, but as I've learned it, it's grown on me. It's really nice and focused as a song, and the message is clear from the first verse. I haven't actually watched any of the A Star is Born movies through all the way, though I do want to see 1954 and 1976 the most of all four. Hope y'all enjoy!
