This work was featured in the SEEG - Sonically Emitted Environment Generator. The SEEG was may senior thesis project for my Art and Technology undergraduate program at OSU. This particular piece was used in the concept demo and then again in the final work. While the SEEG was almost entirely interactive, this work was simply performed while standing in the 9x9x10' space. See the rest of the SEEG for more information:

It's Coming is inspired by a relatively calm day in Columbus when all of a sudden 4-5 air raid sirens could be heard. The dissonance and mild anxiety that accompanied the sound was thrilling and I tried to capture some of that feeling using engineered sounds and pumping them into a completely sealed room where the listener would stand. The effect wasn't exactly the same but it certainly did its part in stirring up emotional and psychological reactions. Created using FL Studio 8. Copyright Ross Smith 2008.
