Pixie Farm is a quirky little piece that's done for a pitched percussion quartet. The idea for this work started out mostly as an excercise to see how to create complex rhythms and melodies across various time signatures (I believe 21/16 makes an appearance). It then transferred to Marimba, Vibes, Glock, and Xylaphone to create a charming little arrangement.
