Alphabet
Alphabet is a conceptual sound piece that explores phonemes. I recorded a couple saying each letter of the English alphabet separately. I then used only the letters recorded to make them say the sentence "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog". This is a classic sentence that uses every letter in the English alphabet. The sounds were manipulated to attempt to make each word. Alphabet is a unique study of both words and sounds.
