This video will show you how to remove fake McAfee virus alert pop-ups.

Do you see these virus alert pop-ups on your screen as you're browsing the Internet?

It says that your computer is infected with a virus.

It seems McAfee and Windows Defender have detected virus infections in your system.

Don't panic when you see these pop-ups.

It's a fake virus alert.

Don't click on any of the buttons that say remove virus, delete virus, or scan now.

You'll notice that the pop-up covers the entire right portion of your screen, preventing you from closing your browser.

The first thing we did was scan our computer with the built-in anti-virus program.

Here are the steps to remove this annoying pop-up from your computer screen.

On Google Chrome, click on the three dots on the top right.

Then choose Settings.
