R.V. Roof Treatment, "keep it cool - keep it dry"
We needed to treat the roof on our 2005 Wildwood camp trailer. We’ve had this trailer for a few years and have had zero leaks and want to keep it this way. The folks who owned this before us had faithfully treated the edges and around the vents with an elastic roof treatment. But here’s the thing, this roof is a one piece rubber roof which is a super good roofing, however it is getting old and the grey coating is wearing away and the black is becoming more pronounced which means it will be absorbing more heat and will start breaking it down. Not to mention more heat inside of the camper as well. We searched around looking for the best and lesser expensive roofing treatments and found “HENRY, 100% ACRYLIC, DURA-BRIGHT ELASTOMERIC, ROOFING COATING.” We found the best price on this at the Home Depot, $100.
