K5 BLAZER, BACK CAB REPAIR
We finally get to finish all of the metal work and rust repair. I threw together a simple die, and used my 20 ton press, which could also be pressed in a vice, to make a step in the sheet metal, to re-create the proper panel seam, and replace the rusty seams on both sides of the upper cab, where it typically rusts away. The tools and supplies I used were; Flap disc, cutting disc, self etching primer, rust reformer, .030 solid core wire, air respirating saw and a simple homemade step die.
