Square body rocker panel repair
I've finally got back on the K5 Blazer project. In the last blazer video, I was able to finish the rust repair on the rear bed end. Next, I wanted to repair the rust on the driver's side inner and outer rocker panels that was so rusty. It all went well. remember to take your time. fit your panels well, snug, but not too tight. Make templates if necessary. I use a rust treatment from harbor freight (Iron armor rust reformer) and a zinc weld through primer to seal the treated metal before I weld up the rocker, and when all done, I use a self-etching primer to seal up all the bare metal from the finished metal work. #chevy #blazer #k5 #rustrepair #metalworking
