Street Pup With Terrorizing Tumor Attacked By Bugs
The only way that she survived was by scrounging around piles of trash in hopes to find some extra food.
This sweet girl was found on the streets of Hyderabad, India by a Good Samaritan who forwarded the information to us. We immediately agreed to help her and went on our way to secure her. When found she was surrounded by trash and drinking from murky puddle water. Her body was so irritated from the pain of her wound and the insane amount of bugs covering her. This poor girl's life was miserable.
Our volunteers coordinated the catch and brought her at a foster home. She is suffering from fast growing vaginal CTVT cancer, Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor. She has to be kept separate from other dogs so that this does not spread. In Hyderabad, it is monsoon season and the last 2 days has been full of heavy rain so her foster mom could not take her to treatment. She is suffering in so much pain and is not letting anyone touch her right now but we have set up 2 volunteers who will be taking her to the vet once a week for her chemo treatment. Our hearts hurt for the hurt that she has been through and we just want to make the pain go away for her.
