MicroShift Advent X / Shimano Deore Hybrid - Followup
About a year ago I created the “Deont X” hybrid drivetrain by combining a Shimano Deore derailleur with a Microshift Advent X shifter and cassette. After riding it happily for about 9 months, the Deore derailleur had an unfortunate incident with a stick which bent the cage beyond repair. So, I put the Advent X derailleur back on.
Going back to the Advent X instantly reminded my why I changed it in the first place. The Deore clutch engagement is so much better. But there are a few little things I like more about the Advent X. So let’s take a deep dive into both of them in this follow up video.
