Maxxis Tires Are Getting HEAVIER
I just noticed that many Maxxis mountain bike tires are getting heavier. We'll look at three popular models, Minion DHF, Minion DHR II and the Rekon, al of which have gained 50 - 80 grams. This is evident from the specs listed on the Maxxis website and various retailers that still list the old specs. Lets take a deep dive and compare these new and old weight and also try to figure out why they have done this.
