Soldering and Desoldering Pin Headers
In this video I experiment with soldering and desoldering pin headers. Soldering pin headers is not very difficult, you just need a little bigger soldering tip, for example 900M-T-K I use in this video, and ideally a lead solder wire for easier soldering. I use a 0.5mm solder wire for soldering in the video, but I recommend to use 1mm one which works much better.
Most people are struggling more with desoldering, so you can try it out to do our way which I demonstrate in the video. An important thing to know is that it doesn’t work for too long pin headers and if you have a too long pin header it’s better to cut it in half before desoldering.
