This Sweet Soy Sauce or Kecap Manis has a lot of uses. It can be used on stir fry (noodles, ramen, meat or vegetables), fried rice, as dipping sauce or marinade too.
Ingredients:
1 cup soy sauce
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic
1 thumb-sized ginger
2 pcs star anise
1 bay leaf
a pinch of cinnamon powder
