Jules Moore decided she wanted Santa Fe, New Mexico, be her new home within two days of visiting the city on a friend’s recommendation.

She found a home perched on a canyon’s ridge: Moore loved the land, and she loved where the house was situated. However, it had been uninhabited for 10 years and had water seepage, small windows, and broken heating.

Moore saw the potential. She hired an expert in Pueblo-style architecture, Frank Trujillo of Tierra de Zia Contracting, to help her realize her vision.

The reimagined space is a light-infused and eclectic snapshot of Moore’s life. Décor from her travels and experiences is artfully curated in every room. The natural landscape that Moore loved is framed by customized Ultimate windows and doors.

“Marvin was the only team that presented to me different options that were going to work for this home,” said Moore. “I wanted the picture windows, but I needed the classic element to match the colonial wood. I wanted awnings and these giant windows to pop out in my den and kitchen … they customized everything, exactly what I wanted.”
