🌊 VFX Compositing: SUBWAY TUNNEL & UNDERWATER SPONGEBOB TWIST 🌊 #8
In this eighth episode of my VFX Compositing Series, I dive into a unique subway tunnel projection challenge from my master's course in VFX, where we were tasked with creating a chilling atmosphere. While the goal was to add eerie elements, I decided to take a creative twist and turn the scene into an underwater SpongeBob SquarePants adventure.
I worked on integrating characters from the underwater world, removing their original background and seamlessly adding them into the eerie subway tunnel. The challenge was balancing the spooky vibe of the tunnel with the bright and whimsical characters from Bikini Bottom, giving the scene a fun yet odd contrast.
