Guitar practice amp in Bendix Radio body
This is guitar practice amp built into a very cool old radio carcass. The amp circuit is similar to the Little Gem found at runoffgroove.com.
I've used the 386-3 IC in this particular amp .. it produces about 3/4 watt. The speaker is an excellent 5 1/4 inch 30 watt ceramic. There are volume and gain controls, allowing you to easily dial in clean or grungy tone.
There's an output jack in this one. In the last segment of the video the amp is driving the Marshall half-stack. You can also use the output jack with headphones.
