B&H Filmosound 385 converted to guitar amp
This is the initial testing of a Bell & Howell model 385 Filmosound amplifier converted for guitar use. The 385 provides a nice compact chassis and quality transformers for your refurbishing project. I pretty well gutted this one converted it to something resembling a Fender Deluxe. The first preamp tube is wired in parallel in the fashion of the 18W Lite. Buzz (the guitarist) was surprised at now nice this amp sounds in the "clean" range .. very touch sensitive; lots of chime.
This one was done for a good friend.
