18 Watt Superlite TMB testing # 5
After some minor revisions we brought the TMB back to the studio for a final day of evaluation. In this particular sequence we have a 5751 in the preamp stage and a 7025 in the PI. Both are NOS GE mil-spec tubes. The 5751 has about 30% less gain than a standard 12AX7.
Buzz is on the ax (as always) and is pretty excited, because with this particular tube combination this amp really sings.
