In this video, I show you how to delete plugins in WordPress safely, based on a real-world cleanup where I removed 20+ plugins.
I explain the difference between deactivating a plugin and fully uninstalling it, and why unused plugin files can still be a security risk.
You’ll see my workflow in the WordPress dashboard: document what each plugin does, deactivate it first, then delete it in bulk when it’s safe.
I also cover smart replacements, such as using Elementor for built-in functionality and moving redirects to Rank Math instead of stacking extra plugins.
