Our client engineered this virus to incorporate two critical elements:
1) early promotors for expressing genes that guide leukocytes to tumors or metastatic sites, facilitating their binding to cancer cells, and
2) late promotors for expressing immune response-enhancing genes within the target tumor tissues, leading to the destruction of cancer cells.
This viral platform allows for the systemic delivery of the virus through the body's own leukocytes, eliminating the need for invasive intratumeral injections.
