☀️ LIVE SOLAR STREAM ☀️ Welcome back to the continuous live solar watch on Tuesday, October 28, 2025! We finally have CLEAR SKIES for a sharp, high-detail view of the Sun's surface!
⚠️ NEVER look directly at the Sun without proper protection! This is a filtered telescope view.
TODAY'S SPACE WEATHER REPORT:
With the clouds gone, we have a clear view of the complex flare producer AR4267, which is still rotating into a prime viewing position. Solar flare activity remains low (C-class flares), but the magnetic structure of this region suggests it's worth watching.
The White Light View:
This stream uses a THOUSAND OAKS WHITE LIGHT FILTER for an incredibly sharp view of the Sun's photosphere (visible surface).
Sunspot Status: We are focusing on the magnetic complexity and evolution of AR4267.
Sunspot Count: The estimated total Sunspot Number is holding strong around ~98.
What You'll See: High-detail views of the sunspot's dark umbra and lighter penumbra, as well as bright FACULAE near the edges of the disk.
