Experience the awe-inspiring sight of the International Space Station (ISS) captured through my telescope on the morning of April 17, 2024. Using tracking software from @Astronomy_Live I was able to follow the ISS as it soared across the dawn sky, at 17,500mph(10873.996 kph), and captured images and video of humanity's most well-known orbital outpost!
Onboard the orbiting outpost at the time, Expideition-71 crew @NASA Astronauts Tracy C. Dyson, Mike Barratt, Matthew Dominick, Jeanette Epps, and @tvroscosmos Cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Nikolai Chub, and Alexander Grebenkin. The Expedition 71 mission began on April 5, 2024, and will end in September of this year.
I"ll write a blog about tracking the ISS and will include a little info about the people in Expedition 71, keep an eye out for that!
