Rannoch Station
Rannoch Station is one of the most isolated stations you can imagine. Trains stop from Glasgow on their way to Fort William and Mallaig. Time it right and you can have a rail day trip to Mallaig and back, what a adventure. The road to the station is very demanding for bikers, around 40 miles each way on single track roads that do have mighty logging lorries thundering along. But the ride is worth it. The station has an amazing cafe, check opening times, and is just a magical place to be.
