Shoei Helmet Audio Install
So many viewers ask about connecting Audio for GoPro into helmets. Either for commentary while riding or often how to record comments from pillion riders or fellow bikers who have communication with you. I have a Shoei Neotec 2 purchased two years ago. At the same time I added the Sena built in communications package, simply because it is so much easier than the Sena I had externally on previous helmets. For some crazy reason you spend all this money on helmets, communication systems and GoPro's and then look for cheap cables! Buy cheap Buy twice...that is exactly what I have done. Noticed a problem when editing a bike trip only to find that sometimes the audio commentary comes out of only one earpiece of my headphones. Mono not stereo? Think YouTube sorts this out so thank goodness as it saved the hours of riding, recording and editing. But last ride, although I did not notice it until editing, the audio had developed a terrible crackling as you will see. My £15 lapel mic had to go in the bin and I ordered a £60 Rode mic.
