Can the punctured tyre be repaired?
The 3 of us left Alan Jefferies BMW Dealership with beaming smiles after collecting our new 1250GS Triple Blacks. Just over an hour later the amazing TFT Screen lit up with dire warnings to immediately stop...tyre pressure warning. The rear tyre was down to 1.2 bar. Found a garage after another 20 miles, pumped it up to 2.9bar and off we went only to have the TFT screen light up again within a minute. Got home and it was 0.65bar. Soon found a 4mm bolt imbeded in the tyre. Could it be repaired? There is one guy I trust, Mark Croft of MC Motorbike Services. Mark is an ex World Superbike mechanic who runs a brilliant mobile servicing and tyre fitting business here in Derbyshire. He would repair or fail the tyre...oh no!
