Renewable Energy: Wind (Week 11, Lecture 1)
In this video, we’ll discuss wind energy. We will summarize how electricity is generated using wind turbines, describe where the greatest wind energy resources are in the US, and discuss why offshore wind may be advantageous relative to onshore development in some areas. We will also describe what the human and environmental arguments are for and against wind energy.
