To save a document, you should go to the file menu and click on save or Save as submenu. But for easy and fast savings in Microsoft Office word, you can use shortcut keys.
If you wanna save the document on the previous document or overwrite it, you have to hold "Ctrl" key and press "S" key. (Ctrl + S)
