Hey guys, welcome to my channel.
In this video I'm going to show you how to enable rulers in Microsoft Office Word. Microsoft Word has two rulers, both vertical and horizontal. If you know the measurements of your paper, you can easily locate your contents in your document. Some people don't know this ability of Microsoft Word, and when they print their document, they find some mistakes in the position of their contents.
In order to activate the rulers in Microsoft Word, you should go to the View tab. In this tab you'll see 3 checkboxes in the Show part. The first one is Ruler. When you check the Ruler checkbox, the horizontal and vertical rulers will be appeared on your document.
Now you can see some dimensions of your document. For example, you can see where your text lines start and where they end.
For deactivating rulers you need to uncheck the Ruler checkbox.
In the next video I'll show you how to use these rulers and change the dimensions.
