Coordinate Planes and Functions-Day 24
Today we go over the topic Coordinate Planes and we learn how we can apply the information from day 23 about functions.
Important things to remember about Coordinate Planes:
*They go on and on forever both up and down AND side to side
*The X-axis is at the bottom and goes horizontally
*The Y-axis is on the side and it goes vertically
*The Origin is where the Y and X axis meet and it is at point (0,0)
*You graph the X coordinate first then graph the Y coordinate
Students, as you are working make sure you are copying the blue, not any other color.
