Fractions Divided by Wholes Visuals
Fraction divided by a whole looks VERY similar to multiplying fractions but there are a few steps that are different. To be successful with the visuals, follow along with the following:
1) Set up a rectangle and shade in the fraction vertically
2) Break up the rectangle by the whole horizontally and shade in ONE
3) Count how many has both colors (that's your numerator)
4) Count how many boxes there are in all (that's your denominator)
5) Simplify
