In this video I want to show you a mixing technique that utilizes pink noise to allow us to get a perfect balance across our entire project. This will, at the very least, give us a good starting point for finishing our production.

Essentially pink noise has an EQ curve that gives a very balanced sound across the frequency spectrum - at least in terms of how humans perceive sound. Apparently, many hit songs and professionally produced tracks closely resemble this EQ curve.

So, I'll walk you through the process of how to do this and then spend a bit of time polishing the mix. Then I'll do a quick A / B with the original mix and the pink noise mix.

Is this the best mixing tip/technique ever? In some cases - maybe!
But I'll let you decide!
