"I love the simplicity of climbing long routes with only a chalk bag and climbing shoes.
I enjoy the adrenaline of climbing higher and higher, knowing that the fall is usually safe (after much practice falling safely and understanding how to recognise and manage the risks such as weather, waves, tides, etc) but still very intimidating!
I find the challenge rewarding to work a route ground up - or should I say sea up? - because it requires a certain intense focus to make each attempt count!
I love the freedom of climbing around, with no belayer and no rope on a big (and often steep) wall, waves crashing beneath me.
