On 5th June 2024, Rab athlete Anna DeMonte set the women’s ski FKT on Mont Blanc, with a time of 7 hours 29 minutes.
Anna tested her every alpine skill to the limit, as she crossed glaciers, passed under seracs, and skinned frozen ascents.
Yet a slipped edge and 100ft fall almost cost her everything.
Moving solo and carrying all her own kit, Anna hoped to contribute to the history of women on this iconic mountain.
