Even and Odd Functions (It's Simple!)
A function can be classified as an even or odd function based on the symmetry of its graph, but there is a simple way to determine even, odd, or neither by looking at the exponents of the variables in the function rule itself. In this video I will show you how a function is odd if all of the exponents are odd, even if all the exponents are even, and neither if there is a mix of even and odd exponents. This is an easy way to determine even and odd functions when the function equation is given or can be determined.
