Haunting video of South Korea students on doomed ferry before sinking

A chilling video has been handed to media which shows South Korean students on a ferry moments before it capsized and sank. The amateur footage was shot by one of the students as they felt the vessel leaning over and being told by a ferry official to stay in their cabins. It was provided by a father of one of the victims and contains a conversation between students on board describing the moment of sinking. Passengers were not directed to evacuate but to stay in their cabins and wait for news. Park released the mobile phone footage to media, after recovering his son's personal items from police. The Sewol ferry was on a routine trip from the port of Incheon to the holiday island of Jeju on April 16. More than 300 people, most of them students and teachers on a field trip from the Danwon High School on the outskirts of Seoul, died or are missing and presumed dead. Report by Ashley Fudge.
