What we Know About the Telegram Founder’s Shocking Arrest
Pavel Durov, the founder of the widely popular messaging app Telegram, is currently in detention after being arrested at a Paris airport over the weekend as part of a cyber-criminality investigation.
The Paris prosecutor said the investigation concerned crimes related to Telegram’s moderation policies including illicit transactions, child pornography, fraud and the refusal to disclose information to authorities.
