Trevor and Katie are Engaged!
I can't imagine anything more special than being there to witness my son propose to the love of his life in Disneyland. Katie has been Trevor's girlfriend for 5 years now but Trevor was ready to make a bigger promise to his precious Katie. He's asked her to accept him as her fiance' and future husband! And as a small token of his great love for her, he did it in her favorite place...Disneyland!
It was so very special. The proposal was just the first big surprise for Katie. Their dearest friends, Patrick and Ralph flew down for the occasion. You'll see how Katie felt about them being there when you watch the video. She literally burst into tears when she saw them there to witness the big moment. She was literally overwhelmed to know they would go to such great lengths for her and Trevor. But that was just the beginning of a great three days together. Trevor, Katie, Dani, Patrick, and Ralph all go way back as friends. I was the newcomer to the group but before the end of the first day, we were all fast friends. What a great trip. So much fun and so much love. I am already looking forward to our next chance to be together.
Honestly, our family couldn't be happier about this engagement! Katie fits into the Bollum family like a hand in glove. We all love her and are thrilled to know she'll be with us for always!
No date for the wedding is set yet and that's just fine. The best things in life are worth waiting for. Hopefully not too, too long though. Katie's mom and I are more than ready for our future grandchildren! No rush, ...but let's not take forever okay kids?!
