C61けん引「SLぐんまみなかみ」号試運転列車水上発車　＜Test run train of "SL Gunma Minakami" departs from Minakami Station＞

This is a short 4-minute video. At Minakami Station in Gunma Prefecture, trains pulled by steam locomotives C61 now arrive and depart regularly. This train, called the "SL Gunma Minakami", is a tourist train that runs on weekends during summer vacation.

I happened to be at Minakami Station that day, and by chance was able to see the test run of this train. I also happened to include a shot of an EF81 electric locomotive. Minakami Station is located deep in the mountains, and the whistle sounds great. Please note that the camera was moving around a lot as it was taken handheld with a smartphone.
