I previously uploaded this section at • 横須賀線逗子→久里浜間前面展望 ＜Cabview Japan railways: Y... , but this time I shot the summer scenery with a different image quality and lens angle.
Yokosuka, which passes through on the way, is an important port town, and since the video passes through here, I added some photos taken here. In today's world without conflict, there are far fewer naval forces stationed in Yokosuka, and Dobuita Street, lined with restaurants, has become deserted. It's great that there is no conflict, but it's sad to see the town become deserted.
The Yokosuka Line tracks become single track from Yokosuka. However, even in this section, all you can see are houses. It's also sad that you can't see the sea (you can see it from the side). However, there are many interesting scenes on this line, and I would like to report on them someday. Photo taken in July 2024.
