This is a cab view of the Iida Line, a local line that runs through the center of Japan, with a length of about 196 km.

and the train I'm riding is the same.
This train was a special one. An earthquake warning was issued while the train was running, and the train, receiving the warning over the radio, quickly stopped to ensure safety and waited for further news.
Fortunately, there was no noticeable damage in the area where the train runs, and the train soon departed.
Despite the illegal incident, both passengers and crew remained calm. A high school student on his way home said calmly, "If this were a foreign country, it would be a big fuss," showing that Japanese people are used to disasters.
The crew also repeated the announcements in a calm tone, and the train eventually departed with a 10-minute delay, making up for the one-minute delay by the time it reached Ina City Station, the final stop of this trip.
Because of this incident, the video ends with the train only traveling two stations this time. This video proves that the railway scene remained calm even when an earthquake warning was issued. August 2024

けれども、現場の対応はとても落ち着いたものでした。車内の高校生も、男の子も女の子も、のんびりとおしゃべりを続けています。
やがて発車した列車は、遅れを取り戻すために、回復運転を行っているようです。
