Iceland Volcano Eruption Update; Volcanic Gas Reaches Ireland, Uplift Begins
A large volcanic ongoing volcanic eruption in Iceland has caused gas to reach Ireland, the United Kingdom, along with parts of France, Portugal, and Spain. This is causing what were previously clear skies to become slightly smoggy. While the lava field at Iceland's Reykjanes volcano is still expanding, there is now only a singular 100 meter long fissure which is actively erupting. This video will discuss what occurred during the last 24 hours, and what levels of ground deformation have recently occurred around this volcano.
